Lima, Peru–And my last day finally came. It seemed days were longer but they were as long as they always are. I woke up this morning knowing I would have breakfast with my family for the last time in who knows how long. My mom asked me to hang around with her. We went shopping and then we went to get a cup of coffee. Does Kiki like coffee? She asked me. I guess yes, I said. She got up and just went away. Minutes later she returned with a bag in her hand. This is for Kiki she said. A few minutes ago I was on the phone with my sister, Kiki. Do you like coffee? Yes she said. I told her I am taking some Peruvian coffee to her but what she is going to find out when she reads these lines is that my mom is sending it to her.
